After watching a bunch of smallmouth bass swipe and not commit to my modified inline spinner on our last trip, I decided to head back to the creek just ONE more time to use a technique my friend Don (Show-Me Fish Tales) speaks very highly of. It paid off – and we were even able to make a quick pit stop in the evening for some BONUS FISHING!
Smallmouth and largemouth? What a day.

Some days… it all comes together…

Fishing is always fun – especially in Wisconsin – but it isn’t always as exciting as we’d like it to be. However, the slow days are what makes us appreciate the days when everything seems to come together, and you find loads of fish… like on this awesome morning.
